About

About the Faculty

The Faculty of Law at Mag University Canada is one of Canada's oldest common law schools, granting law degrees since 1892. The JD program is fully accredited by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and prepares graduates for bar admission across all common law provinces.

MUC Law is nationally recognized for its strengths in environmental law, Indigenous law, access to justice, and legal aid. Our students gain practical experience through the MUC Legal Aid Clinic, moot court competitions, and judicial clerkship placements.

The Faculty's location in Fredericton — seat of the provincial government and home to the New Brunswick Court of Queen's Bench — provides students with exceptional proximity to legal and governmental institutions.
