FAQ
Scholarship Questions
Do I need to apply separately for the entrance scholarship?+
No. Accepting your offer of admission automatically confirms your guaranteed entrance scholarship if you meet the 80%+ average requirement. A separate scholarship application is required only for the major named scholarships.
How is my scholarship average calculated?+
Your scholarship average is based on your best six Grade 12 courses (or equivalent). Final scholarship decisions are based on your final Grade 12 marks, not your mid-year results.
Are scholarships renewable?+
Guaranteed entrance awards are renewable annually provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA (B average). Major scholarships have individual renewal criteria outlined in each award description.
When will I receive my scholarship offer?+
Early offers begin in December for outstanding applicants. All scholarship offers are distributed by April 30 via email to the address on your application.
Can international students receive scholarships?+
Yes. International students are eligible for the International Excellence Award (up to CA$8,000) and can also apply for the entrance scholarship application. Eligibility varies by award.
Ready to Apply?
Submit your entrance scholarship application by March 1. Applications are considered for the majority of MUC scholarships in a single submission.
