Applications are submitted online through the MyMUC Student Portal. Create an account, select your programme, complete the application form, and upload required documents. The process takes 15–20 minutes.

Undergraduate programmes require IELTS 6.0–6.5 or TOEFL 79–88. Graduate programmes require IELTS 6.5–7.0 or TOEFL 88–100. MUC also accepts PTE Academic, Duolingo English Test (105–125), and CAEL Online. Some programmes offer English Language pathway options through MUC's Certificate in ESL.

Once a complete application is received, you will receive a decision within 4–6 weeks. Incomplete applications may take longer. You will be notified by email at each stage.

Yes. You may apply to up to three programmes in a single application cycle. A separate application fee applies to each programme.

A non-refundable application fee of CA$150 applies. Fee waivers may be available for students with demonstrated financial need — contact the Admissions Office for details.

Tuition ranges from CA$9,500 (Certificate in Project Management) to CA$22,000 per year (MBA). Full fee schedules are available on the Tuition & Fees page. All amounts are in Canadian Dollars.

Yes. Every student entering with an 80%+ average is guaranteed a scholarship at MUC — no separate application required. Additionally, MUC offers an International Award of up to CA$8,000, a Merit Scholarship of up to CA$12,000 for high academic achievers, and need-based bursaries. Apply through the Financial Aid Office.

Students may pay by semester, annually (with a 5% discount), or via a monthly instalment plan. A small administrative fee of CA$75 per semester applies to instalment plans.

Full refunds are available up to two weeks before semester start. A 50% refund applies within the first two weeks of class. No refund is issued after the second week of the semester.

First-year domestic and international students receive housing priority. We strongly recommend applying for housing as soon as your offer of admission is confirmed, as spaces are limited.

Rates range from CA$800/month (Birch Hall) to CA$1,350/month (Maple Suites). The MUC Homestay Program starts at CA$1,050/month including meals. All residences include utilities and Wi-Fi.

MUC has over 100 registered student clubs spanning academic, cultural, athletic, recreational, and advocacy interests. New students are encouraged to attend the Club Fair during orientation week.

Yes. The MUC Student Wellness Centre offers licensed counselling, physician appointments, peer support, and wellness programming at no additional cost to enrolled students.

MUC offers over 200 programmes across undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Faculties include Business, Science & Technology, Health Sciences, Education, and Arts & Social Sciences.

Yes. MUC has a formal Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process and accepts transfer credits from recognized Canadian and international institutions. Contact the Registrar's Office for a credit assessment.

Select programmes and electives are offered in hybrid format. MUC does not currently offer fully online degrees. Most programmes are campus-based with access to online learning tools via the student portal.

The RPL programme allows students with relevant work experience or prior learning to receive academic credit, potentially shortening their programme length. Apply through the RPL Portal within your student account.

Upon receiving your Letter of Acceptance from MUC, our International Student Office will provide a step-by-step guide to applying for a Study Permit through IRCC. We also connect students with accredited immigration consultants.

International students with a valid Study Permit may work up to 24 hours per week off-campus during the academic term and full-time during scheduled breaks, as per current IRCC regulations.

Yes. MUC is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). Graduates from most MUC programmes are eligible to apply for a PGWP, allowing them to work in Canada after graduation. Eligibility depends on programme length.

MUC's International Student Office provides pre-arrival orientation, airport welcome service, settlement support, study permit guidance, cultural transition programming, and ongoing advisory services throughout your studies.
