Winter 2026 Orientation Is Confirmed
Mag University Canada's Student Services team has released the complete schedule for the Winter 2026 Student Orientation, taking place January 5–6, 2026, across the Knowledge Park campus in Fredericton.
Attendance is mandatory for all students beginning their first semester at MUC, including students transferring from other institutions and all new international students.
Orientation Schedule
Monday, January 5
- 9:00 AM — Welcome Address, Knowledge Park Auditorium (Building Three)
- 10:30 AM — Campus Tour (guided groups, multiple languages available)
- 12:00 PM — Lunch & Club Fair, Student Centre Atrium
- 2:00 PM — Academic Expectations and Registration Workshop
- 3:30 PM — MyMUC Portal and IT Setup Session (computer labs, bring your laptop)
- 5:00 PM — International Student Welcome Reception (ISO Lounge, Building Two)
Tuesday, January 6
- 9:00 AM — Faculty-Specific Orientation Sessions (by programme)
- 11:00 AM — Student Wellness and Support Services Overview
- 12:30 PM — Peer Mentor Meet-and-Greet Lunch
- 2:00 PM — Financial Aid and Scholarship Briefing
- 3:30 PM — Campus Safety and Emergency Procedures
- 5:00 PM — Orientation Closing Social — The Phoenix Student Lounge
International Student Pre-Arrival Orientation
An online pre-arrival orientation session will be held December 19, 2025 for all incoming international students. Topics include Fredericton settlement, banking, transportation, SIN applications, and Study Permit conditions. Registration link will be emailed to confirmed international students in November 2025.
